Cynthia Layne
I continue to be saddened by the loss of Cynthia Layne. What a voice (can still hear her voice alone, but that is no way the whole of her.)

Still There
After dodging three candidates for Governor, I escape to the studio. Here is a fine, sway-backed, highly improbable table. Liked how the hues worked in “Kept It Simple”; here they are again. While the cup from “Fait Dodo” is all but gone, the composition stole some of its elements from its neighbor.

Fait Dodo
The words of “Fait Dodo”, (an old French lullaby which my mother sang to me, I to my children and they to theirs) are hidden in the graphite writing to be seen along the upper edge of this piece. When unsure of a word or two, I asked my daughter for help, and she replied, “Google it , Mom !”
Almost You Lost Me
Almost you lost me; Silly little thing Of inconsequential matters. Underneath, though, I was there. Only when you wiped off My make-up, Rubbed my parts silky, Did I speak My unintelligible mind.
